Operator’s reality check
Short tracks still injure people in thongs. Shoes on.
If the group is already tired from MSCW, skip optional beach add-ons.
Best conditions
Mild mornings, open track, manageable swell if swimming is the goal.
After heavy rain: slower underfoot.

Extra tips
- Good variety day with Dark Beach or Wasp Head if fitness allows — do not force all three late.
- Quieter than Pebbly on many midweek days — still pack out rubbish.
- No pets. Yuin Country.
Often paired with Dark Beach— only if energy and weather allow.
Area guide: Durras Lake, North Head & Oaky Beach
